Digital Automation Training have created 3 levels of instrumentation training.

Level 1 Introduction to Control and Instrumentation 4 days

This course has been designed to familiarise Engineers, Electricians and Apprentices who have no previous experience of instrumentation with the fundamentals involved in Control and Instrumentation. The course will cover basics of temperature, pressure and flow. The students will be introduced to Single loop PID Controllers and PLC PID control and how signals are connected and how the controllers are configured.

Level 2 Control and Instrumentation 4 days

This course has been designed as the next level of control and instrumentation for Process Control Engineers, electricians and Apprentices. New topics will be introduced as well as more detailed descriptions and practical exercises on the topics explained on the level 1 course.

The course will include more practical exercise on Closed loop temperature and pressure control, the different types of temperature and pressure measurement both in theory and practice. To demonstrate Temperature and pressure control, PID single loop controllers and PLC’s will be used. Also types of control valves and construction will be explained on the course.

Level 3 Control and Instrumentation 4 days

The course will include more practical exercise on Closed loop Flow and level control and the different types of flow and level measurement devices both in theory and practice. To demonstrate Flow and level control, PID single loop controllers and PLC’s will be used.
