Nag Hammadi Bridge

A professional bridge monitoring and control case study focused on structural safety, traffic visibility, and centralized operations for the Nag Hammadi Nile crossing.

UtilitiesClient: Government Infrastructure Project

The Nag Hammadi Bridge project presents an integrated monitoring and control layer for a critical Nile crossing. The solution is designed to give operations teams a clear view of bridge condition, traffic movement, field equipment status, and abnormal events from one centralized environment.

The structural monitoring scope includes distributed sensors on selected steel and concrete elements, vibration and movement tracking, weatherproof field enclosures, communication links, and data acquisition units. These field devices feed dashboards that help teams review trends, compare readings, and detect early signs that require inspection or maintenance.

The control layer covers bridge approach visibility, CCTV monitoring, traffic-control signals, equipment health, alarm handling, and event logging. Operators can follow live conditions, respond to incidents faster, and keep a reliable record of system activity for maintenance and reporting.

Operational value: the system supports safer bridge operation, clearer maintenance planning, faster response to abnormal readings, and better decision-making for infrastructure teams responsible for long-term asset performance.
